Administration
Contract with B.C. Ministry of Health to provide Home Support Worker Service.  Contract with B.C. Ministry for Children & Families to provide counselling.  Contract with Mental Health (B.C. Ministry of Health) to provide counselling.

Volunteer Program
Community Support Team - crisis support, grief support/counselling.

Home Program
We have a medical equipment loan service.

Symptom Management
Work with physicians, Home Care and Continuing Care Nurses and Home Support Workers to enable clients to remain at home and receive palliative care.  Supportive care for care givers/families as well.

Bereavement Program
Volunteer support; counselling.

Education and Professional Training
Volunteer training; public awareness.

Evaluation & Research
Annual client (Home Support Client) satisfaction surveys.

Mission Statement
The Society will endeavour to provide the communities of Hornby and Denman Islands with supportive services that will assist individuals and families to maintain their optimum function, socially, emotionally, and physically; minimizing complications in illness, stress in crisis, and physical and emotional deterioration in the aging, while remaining in their own homes.
